Privacy & publishing

This beta stores account email addresses, password hashes, registered installation IDs, sessions, and publishing usage. AI provider keys remain in the extension and are sent directly to the provider you select.

Publishing is optional and makes the video URL, title, output, author, categories, tags, language, engine, view count, and last-viewed time publicly accessible until the uploader or an administrator expires or removes it. Results do not expire automatically. Uploader email addresses are visible only to administrators. Only publish public videos you are entitled to share. Do not publish private, unlisted, confidential, or access-restricted sources.

Community uploads and automatic categories/tags are not independently verified. Use Report on a result page or contact support@digestVid.com to request review or removal. Ad resources load only after you choose Allow ads. Paid accounts receive no ads.

Expiration and removal unpublish a record; administrators retain access to its metadata. Daily off-server backups should be retained for no more than 7 days after deletion. Contact support@digestVid.com for permanent data deletion requests.

Ads & cookies

digestVid may show ads from Google AdSense on some public summary pages. Paid accounts receive no ads.

Today, ad resources load only after you choose Allow ads. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland will be asked for consent through a Google-certified consent message before any ad cookies are used. digestVid itself uses only the cookies needed for signing in; it does not use analytics or tracking cookies.

Payments

digestVid Pro is an optional paid subscription, billed monthly or yearly. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe's checkout page and are not sent to or stored by digestVid. We keep your account's plan, subscription status, renewal date and Stripe customer reference so we can apply Pro to your account. Stripe's handling of payment data is described in the Stripe Privacy Policy.

You can cancel any time from Manage billing on your account page, which opens Stripe's customer portal. After you cancel, Pro stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. Questions about a charge: support@digestVid.com.
