Hey guys, ChrisFix here. Today we're going to change the wiper blade. Although it seems trivial, when it's snowing out or raining and it's dark, it's nice to have a reference to see how to do it quickly. This one, as you can see, is coming apart in my hand, and you don't want to scratch your windshield, so I'm going to show you how to do this. In this case, this is the rear window wiper. All you need to do is figure out how big the windshield wiper is. You can find that in the book at a store like AutoZone, Advance Auto, or Pep Boys, or even Walmart has the books, or it's in your owner's manual.

To take the old one off is pretty simple. All you do is pull the arm back, turn the blade so it's perpendicular, then put your fingers in between where it slides in and just pull, and it comes undone from the clip. This is obviously this style of windshield wiper, the hook style I think it's called. So again, I'm going to show you once more. For your windshield wipers in general, all you have to do is turn it perpendicular, put your fingers in between here, pull it through, and slide it right out, just like that. Very simple.

Now you're going to mesh these up and make sure they're the same length. They are 16 inches. Make sure they have the same clips. Make sure your clip is perpendicular like that. You slide the hook in, line up the gap, then push forward, turn it, and you're done. Oh, that was easy. Now, you want your wiper to be good. It should snap in a little bit. It's kind of hard to hear the click, but you get the idea.

That's just to give you a really quick idea of how to change your rear windshield wiper. It works for the front two as well, so you're not struggling in the dark or in the rain. It's just a quick reference, very trivial but definitely useful. Give the video a thumbs up if it helped you out, and let me know if it saved you one day in the rain. Comment below.
